The Urology Group Chosen as a “Top Workplace” for 2014

CINCINNATI (June 16, 2014) – The Urology Group has been selected as one of The Enquirer Media Top Workplaces in Greater Cincinnati for 2014. Based solely on employee feedback, the Top Workplaces are organizations in which employees feel valued and empowered to achieve their potential.

According to Dr. Gary Kirsh, president of The Urology Group, “We strive to create and maintain a work environment that supports the professional services provided by our doctors and our staff, and keeps us competitive in the changing world of health care. In a service business, we recognize the importance of our employees. Without great people, we cannot provide great service.”

Ninety percent of The Urology Group’s 240 employees invited to complete the survey did so – an extremely high response rate, according to program administrators. Employees were unaware that the survey was for the Top Workplaces program, ensuring candid responses.

“Our selection as a Top Workplace demonstrates that both our employees and the judges recognize our success,” said Earl Walz, CEO of The Urology Group. “We thank and congratulate our employees for their contributions to the success of our organization and ultimately to our selection as a Top Workplace.”

Now in its fifth year, the Top Workplaces program is open to organizations with 50 or more employees in Greater Cincinnati. Workplace Dynamics, a national consulting firm, coordinates the 22-question survey process. More than 120 local organizations participated in 2013.
