Bladder cancer is one of the top 10 cancers affecting Americans, with 80,000 people diagnosed each year. Unfortunately, 18,000 die each year from the disease. However, with early detection, many treatments are available that can prolong life expectancy and help patients live a virtually normal life. Dr. Stephen Kappa and a patient talk with Local12 about how she found hope at leading a normal life after treatment from The Urology Group. She credits Dr. Caitlin Shepherd and Dr. Paurush Babbar for getting her on the right treatment pathway.
