Liz Bonis of Local 12 explores Aquablation, a treatment for BPH (benign prostate hyperplasia) offered by The Urology Group in Cincinnati. Dr. Aaron Bey explains how the procedure uses water to ablate – or gradually remove – excess prostate tissue in order to reduce its size and allow urine to flow more easily. Aquablation is ideal for men with larger prostates who have severe symptoms that haven’t responded to medication or other treatments. Since this procedure isn’t appropriate for all men, it’s important to discuss this and other options with your urologist
