4 Common Female Sexual Health Issues: How to Detect Them, and What to Do Next
An estimated four in 10 women experience sexual problems at some point in their lives. The causes can range from hormone changes to infections.
After years of delay, the U.S. Congress is expected to take action on a bill that has the potential to fix the current problems of physicians accepting Medicare patients.
Since 1997, healthcare providers have been compensated for services to Medicare patients via a system known as the “SGR.” This system is widely recognized by both Democrats and Republicans to be dysfunctional and outdated. The SGR has led to continual uncertainty for providers and Medicare beneficiaries regarding Medicare payments.
In 2014, prominent members of both parties crafted a bipartisan solution to fix this system. This week Congress will vote on implementing this solution, known as the SGR Repeal Bill, which is backed by leadership across party lines. Failure to enact a new system could lead to disruption in patient care.
