About Dr. Edwards
Dr. Edwards joined The Urology Group in 2014 and sees patients in our Crestview Hills, KY, and our Norwood, OH, offices. She graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2009 and completed her residency in urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. She earned her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from Indiana University, Bloomington.
Her clinical practice focuses on urologic oncology, with particular interest in bladder and kidney cancers, men’s sexual health and reconstructive urology, and robotic surgery.
Dr. Edwards became our Chief Medical Officer in 2017. In that role, she helps lead clinical strategy, quality improvement, the adoption of new treatments and technologies, and efforts to deliver consistent, high-quality care across the organization.
She also holds a national role as Co-Chair of the Urology Alliance Clinical Board where she works with physician leaders and subspecialty experts from urology practices across the country to set clinical priorities, develop evidence-based care pathways, evaluate emerging treatments and technologies, and translate recommendations into practical improvements in patient care.
Dr. Edwards and her husband are raising their three children in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. Outside of medicine, she coaches track and field at a local high school and enjoys running.
Certifications and Memberships
A member of the American Urological Association as well as the Société Internationale d’Urologie, Dr. Edwards is licensed in the commonwealth of Kentucky and the state of Ohio.
She currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for The Urology Group.
