Brian J. Minnillo, M.D.

Dr. Minnillo completed his residency in urologic surgery in 2009 at the University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and a robotic surgery research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard. He received his B.S. in physical therapy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

In addition to general urology, Dr. Minnillo focuses on several specific areas including:

• Vasectomy using a single incision or no scalpel approach; he also offers N20 for a more relaxing experience.
• Kidney stone treatment using a variety of approaches, depending on the size and location of the stones; he uses vacuum aspiration, laser, shockwave, and medical expulsion therapies in particular.
• BPH (enlarged prostate) treatment, including transurethral resection of prostate (TURP), Green Light laser vaporization of prostate, and the Optilume BPH catheter system.
• Robotic kidney surgery for both benign and malignant kidney conditions.

Dr. Minnillo is certified by the American Board of Urology and licensed in the states of Ohio and California. His area of focus includes robotics surgery for urologic cancers and female incontinence.
