CEO Earl Walz Finalist for Top C-Suite Award

August 23, 2022

We already knew Earl Walz, CEO of The Urology Group, was a stand-out. This month, the Cincinnati Business Courier shared our sentiments by naming Earl a finalist of their 2022 C-Suite Award. The annual award recognizes a top Greater Cincinnati executive for outstanding professional performance and their commitment to the community.

As a co-founder of The Urology Group, Earl has spent the last 25 years guiding our growth and the way we deliver healthcare to our community. He has led us to become one of the largest urologic surgery centers in the country, offering diagnostic and treatment options not available elsewhere in our region.

The Urology Group’s 300+ employees are daily beneficiaries of Earl’s fun, upbeat work ethic. Employees caught demonstrating exceptional behavior are rewarded with bonuses. And Earl’s easygoing “management-by-walking-around” style encourages open communication. Both are reasons we’re often designated a “Best Place to Work,” “Healthiest Employer,” and “Top Workplace.”

Earl has previously been celebrated as a visionary, leader, mentor, and role model for healthcare, and for the work he has done that extends beyond The Urology Group. This includes being a founding member of the Independent Physicians Collaborative, a network of 650+ independent physicians and more than 5,000 medical and customer service professionals in Greater Cincinnati. The collaborative ensures patients receive cost-efficient healthcare treatment options.

On behalf of everyone at The Urology Group and our patients, thank you Earl for holding us to the highest possible standards in order to provide the best in patient care. Our heartfelt congratulations!
